"Because Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You; I will praise You as long as I live, and in Your Name I lift up my hands." Psalm 63:3,4
I am a thirty-something girl fastly approaching forty-something. How does that happen? I've been married to my high school sweetheart, Tommy, for 16 years. We have two great kids-a daughter who is 15 and a son, 9. We have 3 furry babies, also called dogs, that create a lot more work for me around the house, but I love every ounce of them. We have moved all around the United States with my husband's first career as a professional athlete, but now we're blessed to be back home in Texas amongst extended family and precious friends again--though we have precious friends afar, as well. It took 19 years, but I just earned my degree in Christian Ministry at Dallas Baptist University. Wow! That felt good! My husband who is thirty-something, too, and now already retired from his first career just graduated with his college degree from DBU in August. (I'm so proud of him!) Only the Lord knows what's next, and we can trust Him with our today and every day that follows!
